Connect

Identify and connect these 3 images. Well, no points for identifying the bananas. So identify the other two images and connect the three. I'm looking for a scientific principle/scientist who gave the priciple. Also, explain the relevance of each image.

Answer- Heinrich Magnus/ Magnus effect
Roberto Carlos' infamous freekick against France in 1997 is considered arguably the best example of the Magnus effect in reality. The first picture shows a spherical object experiencing the Magnus effect. The trajectory traced by an object experiencing resembles the shape of a banana, often known as the banana ball.
Nihar is the only one who cracked it. Amit got the idea right, but not the answer.
