Supernatural....

Ok, I've been on a supernatural high lately, and with the kinda of things that i've read. It was just too tempting for me to not frame a question. Ok here goes....

X is a popular song by Y. Y was accused of dabbling in the occult and was caught up in some pretty crazy controversies. Now X itself is a reference to the occult. X speaks of a man who could speak to the gods and who took upon himself to spread the word of god amongst the commoners. X founded the pseudo-religion Z (I say pseudo, cause believe me this is one weird religion), believing himself to be the prophet of the new age.

Shown above is the popular symbol of Z. X claimed to have recieved the book of Law from an entity called Aiwass, whose first appearance of Aiwass was during the Three Days of the writing of Liber Legis. X belonged to a very famous rock band and cited as the pioneers of heavy metal. Ironically X was booted out form the band because of his heavy drug abuse and alcohol. X was inducted into UK hall of fame both as a solo artist and as a member of his previous band.
X was also awarded the living legend award in classic rock and roll of honor, whose past recipients include, Alice cooper, Jimmy page and slash.

Identify X and Y , pretty simple really but cherry points for Z (i mean real cherry) . Identify Z and it is worth twice X and Y combined.
Also don't google .... cause it pretty much turns up results on the first line. Try X and Y without the google and after you answer i recommend you read up about Z... That is some pretty crazy occult stuff....
