How fast is too fast?

The word “X” has been in use since the 18th century. Although the origins of the word are unclear it is believed to have originated from criminal slang for something that was fast as lightening.
From there, it moved into popular usage to describe quick things. In the 19th century, Gilbert Newton Lewis–an American chemist was the first to apply the term “X” to technical endeavors. He used “X” to stand in for the time it took light to travel one centimeter (approximately 33.4 picoseconds).
After Lewis’s application, the term crept into usage in other scientific pursuits. In electronics an “X” is the time between alternating power cycles (1/60th of a second for most systems). In computing, an "X" is one tick of the system timer (as such, a computing “X” is not a fixed unit of time but an OS/hardware dependent unit of time). In astro and quantum physics, an "X" is the time it takes light to travel one fermi (the width of a nucleon) and amounts to 3 × 10^-24 seconds
Although “X” has established itself in multiple scientific communities, it was hardly constrained to use by the technically inclined. Anytime you see an “X” Lube oil shop, “X” Pop popping corn you're seeing a 300 year old word alive and well in modern use.

one hit wonders..

Born on  November 16th, 1992, in Newark, Delaware,USA, Adam Robert Worton and Jacob Joseph Worton are identical twins. It would be wrong to say they are actors, as albeit being a part of a very famous movie X, but they never featured in any other major movie. The movie X was not a very great hit, but it is very widely known, thanks majorly to these two.
ID X.
X is Baby's Day Out! Baby Bink's role was played by these two people. No one answering this.

Arrrrr.....Arrrr.....Arrrr...........

X is a three word idiom for the bottom of the sea: the state of death among drowned sailors. It is also used as a euphemism for death at sea. The origins of the name are unclear and many theories have been put forward. Though the earliest known reference of the phrase dates back to 1726, its still very much in use today. Notable usage of this concept in the entertainment world include references in Pirates of the Caribbean and also in SpongeBob Squarepants. X? Answer- The idiom is Davy Jones' locker. Amit and Mukund get this right.

Ok we will be starting off with the first series today which will be hosted by Adi and me. It will a month long. If you dont know what that means, read the post below. The series ends on 14/15th May. Good luck.......

"THE SECOND COMING OF QUIZZERS"

Ok well i really dont know why am i making another attempt to revive this thing and i would have gotten away without doing it if it wasn't for those meddling kids and the stupid dog(Amit). Also the dog wanted me to call this the SECOND COMING OF QUIZZERS. SO BE IT .............Here's hoping for a successful "second wind"...........cheers

Now on to the second part of this post- In the hope of making our second tenure more interesting we've decided to come up with a scoring system...........
One of you losers will take up the onus of posting one question every alternate day for a month. Keep a tally of who all answer your question daily and at the end of the month announce the top 3 winners. Im actually considering coming with a prize money. You know if maybe everyone puts in 10 bucks or something like that and give it to the winner(We can take it back on his birthday). Any suggestions regarding this, i hate to say it, but are welcome. Suggestions regarding anything else also welcome. ok i think thats all................updates regarding the first series to follow..............
